Recipes on Ingredigo may contain or reference ingredients that cause allergic reactions, including but not limited to: gluten, dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy, sesame, and other common allergens.
- •It is your sole responsibility to check every ingredient in a recipe against your personal dietary restrictions, food allergies, and intolerances before preparing or consuming any dish.
- •Ingredigo does not guarantee that any recipe is free from allergens. Recipe content is provided for informational purposes only and may not reflect all possible allergen sources, cross-contamination risks, or ingredient substitutions.
- •If you or someone you are cooking for has a known food allergy, intolerance, or medical dietary requirement, consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before preparing any recipe found on this platform.
- •Ingredigo accepts no liability for any allergic reaction, adverse health event, or injury arising from the use of recipes or dietary information provided on this platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Ingredigo website at getingredigo.com (the "Service"), creating an account, or signing up to the waitlist, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Ingredigo is a recipe discovery and pantry-based cooking assistant platform. The Service provides recipe recommendations, ingredient matching, meal planning tools, and AI-assisted cooking guidance. The Service is currently in an early-access / waitlist phase, and features may change at any time.
3. Allergy, Dietary & Health Disclaimer
The allergy disclaimer above is incorporated by reference into these Terms and forms part of the legally binding agreement between you and Ingredigo. In addition:
- Recipe content on Ingredigo is for general informational and entertainment purposes only. It does not constitute medical, nutritional, or professional dietary advice.
- Nutritional estimates, where provided, are approximations only and should not be relied upon for medical or therapeutic dietary decisions.
- Users with specific health conditions, including but not limited to diabetes, coeliac disease, nut allergies, or pregnancy-related dietary needs, should seek guidance from a qualified healthcare professional before relying on any content from this Service.
- AI-generated recipe content may include errors, ingredient omissions, or culturally inaccurate substitutions. Always review the full ingredient list carefully.
- Ingredient availability and descriptions may vary by region. Ingredigo is not responsible for differences in local food labelling or product formulations.
4. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
- Ingredigo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behaviour.
5. Recipe Content & Intellectual Property
- All recipe text, images, descriptions, and related content on Ingredigo are the property of Ingredigo or its licensors, unless otherwise stated.
- You may save, print, or share recipes for personal, non-commercial use only.
- You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit any recipe content without express written permission from Ingredigo.
- Some recipes are AI-generated originals. These are clearly labelled and represent original creative works, not copies of third-party content.
6. User-Submitted Content
Where the Service allows you to submit content (such as pantry items, preferences, or reviews), you grant Ingredigo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. You retain ownership of your submitted content.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ingredigo and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any allergic reaction, foodborne illness, or adverse health event arising from following a recipe on the platform.
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or any other intangible losses.
- Any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in recipe content, including ingredient lists or cooking instructions.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
9. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Scrape, harvest, or copy recipe data for commercial purposes.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise the security of the platform.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.

Ingredigo reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable territory.
